The story isn't much different for the FTSE 250 (MIDD) which is 15.6% above its 200-day MA, having reversed off the psychological 1,000 mark (MIDD) Wednesday.
Of the underperformers there is the DAX at a meagre 8.7% above its 200-day MA, the Bombay 100 ($BSE100) at 7.6% and the Australian ASX also at 7.6%. The Shanghai bucks this trend even more by trading 0.5% below its 200-day MA. None of these exchanges have broken January highs. This divergence is likely to catch up with the chargers soon.
